The theme for International Women's Day (IWD) in 2025 is #AccelerateAction.

This theme encourages people to work together to create a more equitable world and drive meaningful change.  At the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158 to achieve full gender parity, according to the World Economic Forum and we definitely can do better than that, come on! Just come on!!

The 2025 theme calls for urgent and coordinated action to recover lost ground and ensure women are not left behind in the post-pandemic recovery. There is still work to be done to address significant barriers to gender equality. #AccelerateAction encourages people to challenge stereotypes, question bias, and celebrate and support the successes of women. 

Each hard-won gain – from the right to vote to the right to engage in paid work, equal opportunities, and freedom from violence – have been the result of battles fought by activists women since before some of us can remember.

When I was doing my research to write this blog, I found the White House article about "Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government"  and it made me sick! 

First of all, if you have to make an executive order out of it, is it really The Truth? and secondly, why are you so obsesses about it? What happen with land of freedom? or simply, mind your business? 

Well, let me tell you this: freedom is not free because what’s  up with this new executive order about defending women by attacking other minorities like the trans community? If that’s how you are going to "defend" women then I don’t want it. We don’t want it! Theres so many things that you can do to defend and support women  but instead THIS is what you choose? Whoever is managing the agenda should check the priority list, just in case. 

As of right now there are trans inmates been transferred to same sex facilities, they are cutting off any gender care treatment  even educational information on the subject is prohibited now, come on, historically we know how this works. The name of the executive order should be "Deprecating the Trans Community on Behalf of Women"

We are facing a new challenge and we need to stay together. Everything that we already overcome and all the lessons we learned  brought us here and we are so ready!
